Corporate Express
As one of the largest stationery products companies in the world, Corporate Express has a comprehensive trunking operation to its distribution centres, located nationwide.
X2 undertakes this highly time-sensitive operation to a variety of destinations throughout the UK, using both double-deck and single-deck trailers.
By back-hauling and rebating the customer on this trunking operation, X2 has significantly reduced Corporate Express trunking costs without compromising service.

Palletways
Palletways utilises the services of its Strategic partner X2 to support its own operations as well as those of it's customers creating a fully integrated logistics solution. From servicing the membership with Trunking solutions to collections from corporate clients into the Palletways hubs, or by distributing customer's goods from Palletways Supply Chain services division Stargate Logistics.

TDG – HP Ethnic Foods
This was a good example of a non-dedicated operation, with highly fluctuating daily volumes, which did not have sufficient volume for a dedicated Operations Manager. Orders were e-mailed daily to X2, who organised the most cost-effective transport solution, remotely, from their Lichfield Control Tower. Well-developed communication channels ensured all customer requirements were met, including all PODs returned within 48 hours maximum.

DHL – Logistics
DHL is one of the longest standing customer relationships X2 has. Services range from seasonal support for operations for the high street retailer Boots and the DIY chain Homebase as well as providing day to day solutions to a number of DHL operations complimenting their core fleet solutions with customers such at British Gypsum.
DHL – Boots contract
DHL was successful in winning the seasonal Xmas Boots contract, which requires high volumes of loads to be delivered to the Boots' distribution centres nationwide. This activity is concentrated into an intense, 6-month period. X2 was able to assist DHL by undertaking the entire transport operation during the set-up period, enabling DHL to focus its efforts on setting up the warehouse operation and systems, recruitment, managing the relationship with their customer, and the myriad of issues that go with any start-up.
An on-site X2 Operations Manager integrated with the DHL operational staff to ensure all KPI targets were met. X2 uses the Mandata Traffic Management System to monitor and measure transport activity and to produce comprehensive management information.

DHL – Homebase contract
In the spring of 2004, DHL's seasonal warehouse at Worcester commenced a contract for Homebase, involving the distribution of full and part loads, to Homebase stores, stretching from Inverness to Truro.
All KPI targets were achieved, and X2 was able to utilise double-deck trailers in selected areas, to achieve increased payload and commensurate cost savings for the customer.
DHL – British Gypsum contract
X2 has been supporting DHL's contract with British Gypsum from both its East Leake and Barrow–on–Soar plants for several years now.
X2 support the DHL core fleet operations on a daily basis servicing regions where it is not cost–effective for the core fleet to deliver to or where volume fluctuations need to be accommodated without hiring in and managing additional resources.
